For the cost of just one therapy session, The Talking Circle Game creates opportunities for meaningful connection and conversations that can transform relationships.

The Games Unique Design

300 carefully-curated question cards are a key ingredient in the game. All questions are open-ended, positive and respectful. There are NO offensive, intrusive or embarrassing questions. 

Players agree to actively listen without interruption, and give their full attention to the person holding The Talking Stone. Players choose the question cards they want to answer and when they want to share in their Talking Circle.

Every Talking Circle Game starts with players reading The Player Agreement Card. They are asked to agree to treat each person with respect and to listen respectfully and with empathy to what is shared in their Talking Circle.

The game has three rounds of individual questions on three levels of depth, from ice breakers to deeper questions.

The next two rounds are group questions where players share their different views on the same question.

The final round is a Reflection Card question that invites players to share their feedback to their Talking Circle. 

What’s included in the card box?

• 300 Talking Circle Game question cards for each of the six rounds of conversations.
• The Talking Stone which is a black river stone sourced from the mountains of Tibet that players hold when they are sharing their question cards.
• A 12 Page "How to Play the Talking Circle Game" Leader and Player Guidelines Booklet.
• 10 Player Agreement Cards. Each player is asked to agree to abide by the Guidelines.
• 10 Fold-Out Visual Instruction Cards to guide players through playing the Game.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can play the game? The Talking Circle is designed to be played by 2-10 people (aged 10+) It can easily be adapted for larger groups and for special events. 

The six question rounds usually take 60 minutes, depending on the number of players. You can limit players to 3 minutes to respond to their questions or “go with the flow.”

Is the game available outside the USA? We ship internationally as well as in the USA.

When will my order be delivered? If you are ordering from the USA, your order will be delivered within 2-3 days. For locations outside of USA please allow 1-3 weeks.
